He has acted as counsel in arbitral proceedings under SIAC, HKIAC, and AAA rules, and supports the firm's arbitration practice across commercial matters spanning the finance, technology, and cryptocurrency sectors.
Prior to joining Dan Tan Law, Remus trained at a leading international firm in Singapore, gaining experience across general commercial disputes and the firm's aviation practice. This grounding has given him a practical understanding of contentious strategy and the commercial considerations that drive complex litigation and arbitration.
Remus holds an LLM with Distinction in International Financial Law from King's College London, and an LLB from the University of Nottingham. His postgraduate specialisation — spanning cryptocurrencies, corporate governance, and international financial regulation — provides a strong technical foundation for the firm's investment and commercial arbitration matters, particularly in disputes engaging the increasingly complex intersection of finance and cross-border regulation.
